Giving time to charities from my perspective is even more worthwhile than cash at times. I loved every minute working and supporting not for profits over the years and aim to spend a lot more time as I grow older. Here’s some of the charity work I am privileged to be involved in.
Active support including London Committee Member and Chairman of Chilterns Region in total 1993 until 2002
South East Committee Member 1993-1995
Fundraising Calendar 1999
Chairman of Commercial Services, and Trustee of the Charity 2000 – 2009
Donor and Introducer 2011-2012
Donor and High Level Introducer 2015 onwards
I am honoured to have organised the sponsorship of The Late President Nelson Mandela with his visit to the UK shortly after his release in prison.
I am proud to support such a worthwhile cause. The Chakravarty Cup – named very kindly by HRH The Prince of Wales himself after a patron of The Prince’s Trust, Saroj Chakravarty, is an annual event created to raise funds and sponsorships for the charities supported by The Royal Family. This year’s charities include The Prince’s Trust, WellChild and the Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund. I am currently looking to connect with potential sponsors for our next Polo Day September 2017. Please do email me for more information for what is a very special day firstname.lastname@example.org
Ambassador – High Level Introducer
I am delighted to support SOHK with introductions on an ongoing basis including potential donors including individuals, companies and PR connections for this worthwhile cause.
